The City of Waite Park recently acquired land to add a right-turn lane at the Marketplace Annex property.   This right-turn lane will be at the intersection of 2nd Street South (TH 23) and 2nd Avenue South.

With the untimely passing of long-time business owner Greg Hall at the end of December, staff at that business turned to Axis Commercial Realty for assistance.  With the need to move quickly to provide uninterrupted property management services to various apartment, townhome, and commercial property owners, Axis Residential, LLC was created.  Justin Hall is an owner and Chief Manager of the new business with Axis Commercial Realty (Phil Braun and myself) adding the necessary licensing and staffing support.  This venture takes our experience into the association, housing and apartment management business.

Construction will begin within the next few months for a Pizza Ranch Restaurant at the Marketplace of Waite Park.  Pizza Ranch will be located in the former Outback Steakhouse location and is anticipated to open in March of 2009.  This is the third location for operator Darren Kelderman of Wadena.
